South Island Secondary School Tournaments 2014 update

There will be two tournaments held for South Island secondary Schools in 2014.

The New Zealand Secondary Schools Rugby League Qualification Tournament will be held over Queens Birthday, May 30th - June 2nd at St Thomas Of Canterbury College, Christchurch.

The Premier grade, emerging schools grade, and any wild card entries to the New Zealand Secondary Schools Rugby League Tournament, held in Auckland will be decided from placings at this tournament.

 The South Island Championship will be held 1st - 5th September, venue to be advised.
This tournament will be held in the NZSSSC Winter Tourney week at the same time as the NZSSRL Tournament.

South Island Secondary Schools Tournament 2014

 St Thomas of Canterbury College are hosting the inaugural
South Island Secondary Schools Rugby League Tournament, on Queens Birthday Weekend 2014.

This tournament will decide the South island entrants into the NZSSRL tournament
 (Winter tourney week 2014).

We are seeking expressions of interest from schools that want to participate in this event.

Schools that have already expressed interest:
St Thomas of Canterbury, Aranui HS, Catholic Cathedral, Southland BHS, Greymouth HS, Nelson College.
